I got 2 Silver Lakenvelder's today

Hi all,

I got my first 2 Silver Lakenvelder's today, anyone else have this breed, would love to learn more about them!

I have 1 Silver Lakenvelder, but he/she is only 2 weeks old. I'm afraid I dont have much to offer. I did read on a couple of websites that they tend to avoid human contact and also tend to be a bit flighty and nervous. I can tell you though, that so far - our little Lakenvelder is the go-getter, front and center "pick me! pick me!" chicken of our bunch. LOL! I'm not sure if that will change or not, but right now - this little guy/gal has got a great personality. VERY interactive and seems to seek out any affection he/she can possibly get.

He/she can't stand still long enough for me to get the hardware cloth off the brooder. Haha!
