I got 4 new babies ;)

I went to the feed store today and well, my girls HAD to spend their allowance on a new baby chicken.. each. Then I learned they had 4 varieties so I HAD to get two more.. Now I got me A RIR, a BR, an EE, and a Sicilian buttercup. She is awful pretty.. they are already about 2/3 weeks old so at least I know they are going okay.. My other guys are 15 weeks old already (one layed her first egg yesterday!!). Sooo, they will be staying separated for a while.
One more thing.. I saw my Light Brahma rooster mating with my Australorp Pullet.. Wont those be some interesting babies? He was trying to mate with the Partridge Cochin Bantam too, how is that gonna work out? Thanks, cookies for reading!

I just set and egg from my LB roo X my gold laced banty cochin hen - I hope it hatches. I just had to set it to see what kind of baby comes out, lol!!

Sounds like you have a houseful and with a chicken hobby, you're sure to have more.
