I got 5 chicks and 2 ducks today!!

2 Americanas, 2 Black sex links, 1 polsh crested
and 2 ducks forgot the breed)
the lady at the feed store said ducks and chickens can be kept together. Is that true and What do ducks need differently from chickens?

I know ducks need Niacian and I don't think they can eat the medicated chick feed I don't have ducks yet but that is what I have been reading also since you did get your chicks at a feed store more then likely your Ameracuan's are easter eggers which is great because they can lay blue, blue/green, green or pink eggs they come in some many different colors. I would keep the ducks in a different brooder since they seem to make a mess with the water and need to clean their beaks just more of what I have read.
