What a sweet pleasure, finding that first little egg.
I think it has to be from my 5 mo old silkie. My other ones coming up are only 3 months old. It's a light brown egg with a sheen to it. It's a blue silkie. Does that sound like it? (She may not be pure bred -- I picked her up at the feed store.)
