I got chickens to replace a dog!

Hi, another new one here! I have 3 bantam chickens which are great fun and very enjoyable. I am on a facebook chicken page and this site is often mentioned so I thought I would join

As far as I understand I have a golden laced Wyandotte bantam. A white Wyandotte of some sort, and a pekin of some sort. The golden laced (Lacy) is laying and another one just started on Sunday and I think it may be the pekin (Geraldine) but I won't know until I catch her in the act

Some chickens get so tame they do follow you around like a dog. My friend has 4 house chickens and a dog. They all wait by the door when she leaves the house, and when she gets back they get excited like any dog would. BTW they boss the dog around.
