For 15 years I drove a school bus and when my DD went to school I went back to school .. for nursing.. but it was hard to find work even part time in nursing most were on call and like 1 shift every other week, so while I was trying to work my way up the seniority ladder I was still driving the bus. until one year ago I finally had enough seniority hours i was able to quit driving bus. Then in August 2009 I lost my job due to downsizing so I went back to driving the bus and I started working in home care. so I was working 2 jobs and still not getting great hours in home care as a nurse. So in January a friend e-mailed me about a driver examiner position that was opening up so I said what the hay i will apply never thinking I would get it. They e-mailed me back the next day asking me to do a phone interview, remember this was in January 2010.. >>FF to las week i get a call asking if i can come in for an in person interview... guess what... I GOT IT!!! I forgot I had even applied for it giving that i applied in January.. and its making more money then nursing.. who would have thought... I am so excited
