Well then go with what seems logical.

I honestly don’t even know anymore. I just had my favorite duck die from a fox attack last night because he broke through a coop window... and can someone tell @Duck mommy 2019 that I AM NOT using a crested duck for breeding. I kept making different posts because people kept telling me different things so it’s all so confusing

you made like 10 posts about breeding. you can’t force them to hatch eggs and also shouldn’t breed a crested duck

I’m not force breeding. I’m letting them do whatever is natural

Nvm it’s fine now. I have my answers I’m just going to let a buff and Pekin breed naturally and hope for the best because I’m so confused! Thanks for all the help, I made so many different posts Ik I can be annoying but thx you all so much, especially you @sourland and @CaliFarmsAR

Very sorry for your loss cover all windows and openings with hardware cloth 1/2” makes it safer inside the coop. Predators are relentless.
