First time with chickens! We split an order with someone at work - from Estes Hatchery - we ordered 25 meat birds and 25 egg layers total. We ended up getting 8 extras (1 died in transit unfortunately and 1 was barely alive but we gave her water and held her and she came around). They all look great...they're eating, drinking and chirping (and pooping a lot!). We introduced the dog to them and she was excited but did awesome. Posting pics on my page.
