LOVE LOVE LOVEVery nice! I had silkies a few years ago! Loved them to death! Even my silkie roo was a sweetie. My silkies were definitely pets; I bathed them and dyed them and everything.View attachment 3525790
YESI NEED to see pics of them dyed!![]()
AWWW!!!!That's the sad part. I know I have some, but I can't find any for the life of me!The one I remember the most was dying one orange, another green, and leaving the third white for Saint Patrick's Day.

Thanks!WOW! That's very cool! Congratulations!!!!
Oooooo, how did you handle them? I WENT CRAZYI got one on April 25th for my birthday![]()
I would bathe them first, just in warm water, no soap or anything. And then I filled an old pot with warm water and added a bunch of food coloring. I used the stuff in the dropper bottles. If I remember correctly it took about half of one of the little bottles. I held the chicken in it for a bit (I don't remember how long, I guess until I was satisfied with the color) and then I'd wrap them in a ratty towel and blow-dry them. I could only go about halfway up their necks, so they still had white heads and stuff. I never bothered, but unless you want dyed arms, definitely wear gloves, too.AWWW!!!!
How did you dye them? I might want to try....
