I got Snowy Call hatching eggs! Post #3

I want call ducks, they are SO cute and after this year's fair I think I have DH talked into it. Are they harder to hatch? I dont want to spend all the money to buy and ship and then find out that it take magic to hatch them

I don't know about hatching but most reputable breeders won't ship them until they are a little older than a few days due to how fragile they are.

I know I should have come looking here first but I saw these call eggs on ebay (prolly from someone on here???

) and HAD to have them. I got them, woo hoo! So, thats why I was asking about hatching them, because I was bidding on these eggs, see. I guess I will just follw the destructions and hope for a good hatch cause DANG I want these duckies to make it!!!

I let a Cochin hen hatch mine. 3 out of 7 hatched. A snake ate one.

I got my Snowy hatching eggs on eBay as well and hatched 4 out of 6! =]

Be careful about eBay though because only one of my babies seems to be a snowy and the others are some kind of mix. But they're still adorable and I love them! <3

I actually didnt want snowy but the price was right and the pics show a more mixed coloring so I think I should be happy with it
