I got some new Muscovy ducklings!!!

Thanks Miss Lydia. I am glad and surprised to be back so quickly. We really lucked out in finding our rental house especially since we came up here to it sight unseen.

The female recovered and went to a farm in Florida with the male and 4 of the ducklings. I was very surprised but with all of the rest and seperation she got, she seemed to be doing well when I sold her. I still have no idea what happened with her but it took almost 1 week for her to start walking again. I sold the last of them a few days before we were contacted by our current landlord up here.

I was very sad to see them go especially since some of the babies were gorgeous but I am glad that I was able to find some so quickly here.
Great news so glad everything worked out and she made it.Now you can enjoy your new ones.

Going Quakers- I had a black barred duckling before that turned out to be a drake and after molting was mostly black no barring.
I figure with these the browns may end up solid which is fine by me. The people I go them from had 13 at this age and they all appeared to be female except for the male I got and possibly 2 others. I hope I have the same luck once they are breeding to get that many females.
