I guess today is my lucky day

I had received an email from Ideal Poultry yesterday for me to do a survey regarding our purchase from them. After I completed the survey, I received an email from a Teri Adcox regarding the problems we had. Then this morning I received a phone call from a lady named Carol. Mind you I love all my chicks that I received from them in May of this year. There was a mix up and I got Ameraucana's instead of assorted cochins, assorted Crested Polish instead of White Crested Black Polish and I never received the Grogel Plus B that I had paid for.

Well after getting off the phone from Ideal, we are getting some Cochins to include the Partridge that my hubby wanted, a White Crested Black Polish like I had wanted (to replace the one that died) and some Grogel Plus B free of charge to be delivered on the 5th of September.

I'm pleased that Ideal is taking such responsibility in their error or accidental mistake. I just wanted you all to know.

Thats great! I wish MM was that way on followups. Out of 17 Buff orps I ordered...1 with yellow, 3 with green legs. They gredited me 12.00 big whoopee. Now I am not sure the BO i DO have are even purebreds. UGH! I love them all...but was really wanting some PURE BO's.

Make sure we get pics of the new babies when they get there.

To say I was surprised was an understatement. I didn't think much about the survey initially until it asked if there were any problems. I just told them about the mix up. Next thing I knew we were to be receiving more babies!!!!! Now the problem of where to place them when they're big enough to go into the general population. Which coop and which run!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoever said that keeping chickens content without making yourself go crazy needs a good dose of...hmmm shall I say "ABOUT A 100000000 CHICKENS"!

i also found ideal to be fantastic...when we lost some of the babies from the first shipment (they took 72hrs to arrive in the cold of late april/early may) they were just great to deal with. Im not expert enough to know whether their birds are "good quality" but they are healthy and im really happy with them.
