I Hate Dogs!! :(

Someone else here posted about hanging an aluminum pie plate from an electric fence and filling it with dog food. A bit more satisfying and immediate than Ex-Lax. TSC has a 2 mile fence charger for $20.00.

I'm pretty sure I know where at least some of the dogs are coming from. We call it the 'Tweeker' house..(looks like a m*th house) its about a mile away on the main road, but I just found out there is a trail that leads to the little store right by their house to the vacant property next to mine. probably only 1/2 mile.. but I have no proof. I do se them roaming when i drive by, so maybe I can take pictures and get them at least fined for leash laws. I'm sure they have more dogs then they can possibly take care of well, and keep contained.

I do like these idea's.. but I have 4 cats (including the preggo feral) My luck I'd end up with cats with the worst diarrhea of their life! or zapped cats.. mmm dog food?... ZAP!! raaaayer!!



I JUST called A.C. again. Talked to a different, more understanding woman. She took down my complaint including types of dogs, number of chickens, dates, what I saw, asked If I had called before (yes, I have!), then told me to get the address of the people I'm pretty sure it is and call with that and they will send an officer out to talk to them. Also they will rent me out large dog traps!! I'm thinking that if I trap the dogs and turn them in the owners will get more whats coming to them(fines? some of my lost costs?) as opposed to me shooting em, I doubt them loosing a dog is gonna slow them down, or even make them think twice. these people have a bunch of dogs and sometimes have trashy cardboard painted signs saying 'puppies for sale'. again druggies probably BYBreeding just to try and make a quick buck.

Be careful around feral cats. I had one that I would feed but it never would come up close to me until one day and then it ran up to me and attacked me. Had to get 3 shots and take antibiotics my hand and arm was so swollen.

I think that you could try to hide and then shoot the dogs so they won't see you.

I rescued this girl from a druggy like what you describe. Not pulling her ears. Just holding back the one. This chick originally had a huge assortment confiscated. She was selling animals. So recently, she had my girl, my girls daughter, and a big bird of some kind. I rescued the mama, super senior, (4.4# at the time in May-have her up to 6.4#), no teeth, only being fed dry kibble thrown on the floor, eyes poked out, calcified titties, needed emergency spay, which I had done. $$$, toenails curled into toe pads. My neighbor rescued the daughter, and druggy chick still has the bird.

So apparently this kind of situation is common. I didn't realize, until I rescued my girl. Can I say, I HATE drugs in THE WORST WAY, even Marijuana. They say it's not addictive, but that's a lie.
