The batch of chickens my wife got were supposed to be all hens. Well, two are roosters. That's not a bad thing other than we're in a place where we can't have roosters so we have to find them a home.
What we have are one Rhode Island Red and a Buff Orpington and if someone has an extra young hen we'd love to do a two for one but that won't be a deal killer.
I'd love to keep these guys because the both have great personalities.
Of the two the Buff is not a docile as the RIR. He will nip on occasion but not very hard. I often hand feed them and they always come running up to the gate when my wife or I approach.
We are in Temecula California so obviously anyone who would like them should live reasonably close.
We would like these guys to go to someone who needs a couple of roosters for something other than the BBQ.
Send an email or private message through the system if you're interested and I'll get back to you with direct contact information.
Oh, they are about three and a half months old.
