I have 5 pullets that are about 11 weeks old now and I would absolutely love any help I could get on what breeds they are! Today I found out that the feather footed one is a Silver Laced Cochin Bantam, but the rest are still a mystery to me. Help please!

The one in the shed is Nugget. The black and white one with the feathered feet is Fancy (who I think might be a rooster), the white butt belongs to Snowball, the brown butt belongs to Piper and the gray one in the back is Hedwig. This was just a decent photo of them all together.

A better picture of Nugget. "He?" has greenish tail feathers you can't see too well with the lighting of the photo.

Snowball back.

They're all mixed breed birds. If they were sold as pullets (female) you need your money back on Nugget, Piper and Snowball cause they're male.

I was honestly just guessing what sex they were. I knew it was a crap chute on whether they were going to be male or female when I agreed to take them. Oh well. They were free and need a home. But thanks for your feed back.

Any thoughts on the feather footed black and white one? Because I am pretty sure that is a male too. Great just what I need. 4 roosters.

Just so I know for in the future, how did you two figure out they are male? I was only able to peg Fancy and Nugget because they were pretty obvious.I must learn the way of the chicken lol

Nugget is a rooster because his comb is red and large, his coloring is splotchy, his tail has greenish feathers coming in, and he has a tall, erect stance. Fancy, like Nugget, has patchy coloring, a tall stance, some pointy hackle (neck) feathers coming in, and a large red comb. Snowball has a red comb and thick legs. And, Piper is a rooster because he stands tall and has some red feathers on his wings (females don't usually get red on the wings).
