I have 5 roosters is that bad?!

Okay so I have 11 chickens (silkies to be exact ). I got them as babies and they were strait runs. So I ended up with 5 roosters maybe 6. I know sometimes when you put more than one rooster in the same area they will fight and even possibly kill eachother. So my question is since they were raised together will they still try and hurt eachother. Now once in a while they do have their fights but it usually only last a couple seconds and if i see it i do break it up. When they do have there little fights they bite eachother on the neck and thats it. Also I know silkies are pretty nice breeds so does that help at all? Overall I'd just like to know your opinion. Do you think they may get along? By the way they are 5 months old today.

Yes. Not only will your roos fight but your hens will start looking rough from being over bred. I would try to rehome as many roos as possible.

You think? I really love all my chickens I'd be really upset getting rid of some thank you for the advice though!

I think it depends on how much room they have in the pen. I had 8 silkies last year and the 1st part of this year. 4 boys, 4 girls. Everyone got along great, no fighting and no pecking. The girls all looked great as well. They are sweet little birds and from my experience are pretty docile.
