I have a bantam flock and I wouldn't risk them with a standard rooster. Even with a gentle standard roo, mating can injure a bantam hen simply due to the size difference. And I too have heard of bantam hens having their necks snapped by a standard roo mating them. I wouldn't put a standard roo with any bantam and definitely not with Sebrights, they're tiny.
Since you were told that she's bigger than a bantam, could you post a pic of her next to a coke can or something to compare size? I'm sure someone on here will know the breed and whether or not it is a bantam.
