I have a video of the two unidentified chicks. Any ideas?

These 5 week and 3 day old chicks got caught in a rainstorm and had to get a bath and a blow out.

They are quite happy now and we kept them inside with us.

We don’t know what hatchery they came from, only that they are from Ace Hardware. What breeds do y’all think?

Can we get some standing pictures and pictures showing legs and combs? It’s extremely hard to tell in those pictures but I’m thinking the bird on left is a Russian Orloff and the right is an egger

Yes, I’ll get some when home or their legs. They are only 5 weeks and 4 days old so they don’t have much of a comb yet.

Best I can get they are so happy right now to be clean and by themselves with no one to establish a pecking order.

Good pictures! You indeed do have a Russian Orloff. Your other is a hatchery mix of some sort… I’m wondering if she’s what Hoover’s calls a Rainbow

That was one of the things my husband said the store is called Hippy Dippy and they wear a lot of rainbows so that makes sense.

Is the big one the Russian Orloff or the smaller one? They are apparently the same age.
