hello i live in lamont bakersfield and don't know much about young chickens except that my cat brought one home this morning injured. It took me until the afternoon just to find out it was a chicken and I had been calling all the wrong places. it seems to be missing an eye and has a hurt wing and hurt foot and some tender raw spots but it is peeping and hopping and drinking water that offer It on a spoon. I poured some warm soapy water on the wounds and dabbed on neosporin that i had lying around because I read online somewhere it was ok for chicks. i put it in a carrier and brought it inside. i offered it wild bird seed and bread crumbs and saw it eat a little. if it makes it through the night does anyone know of a a chicken rescuer or have nursing advice. I would love for it to have the best chance at survival but I am not experienced. thanks for reading.

this time i was able to post it directly without a link. thanks. so hes better now. its been 3 days, i bought food and antibiotics he is standing up but one of his feet is folded under facing backwards that seems to be the main problem now and does anyone know what kind of chick this is
