Ok I totally need to stop hyperventilating.....


I have an interview on tuesday at Baptist hospital working as a tech on the surgical floor or on oncology.... working nights 7p to 7a.. 3 on 4 off

this is untill I start my nursing school back up in the summer time.

OM Goodness I am totally freaking out!!

I have been a stay at home mom for a very long time .. my son is almost 9..

my husband was in a car accident back in april and has not been back to work since.. our ship has been slowly sinking with us trying to bail out the water as it goes down.. So I started looking for jobs.. applying everywhere!!! The one place that I have applied before but never gotten any reply back is now replying back..

she wants me to come in for an interview.. I AM SOOOO NERVOUS!!!

are there any surgical techs or oncology techs.. out there?

The reason I say both of these is because I applied for two jobs and out of all my excitement I didnt ask which one..

OK so it is like a month later.. I first posted on feb 2nd

Oh good luck!!!!

I was a SAHM for 6 years. When the kid entered KG I started looking for a pt job. I interviewed for the job I wanted. They called me the next day and told me they were going with someone else. Well, they called me back about a month and a half later and offered me the job.

I have been there since mid Oct and LOVE IT. It isnt a lot of money. But I still get to bring my kid to school and pick her up and be mom after. And no weekends or major holidays. A BIG thing for me.

I hope you get the job. I will be thinking of you and checking back here for updates
 
I worked as an ICCU tech for a couple of years. Just go in with a friendly and positive attitude. Try to make a small list in your head of tasks that you might be given and put them in priority, for example call bell is ringing, physician needs a bed for a patient and a family member needs a question answered what would you do first? (Answer the call bell) This was one of the questions I got. Good Luck you can do it!
