Apr 25, 2009 Thread starter #6 Rach1966 In the Brooder 11 Years Nov 10, 2008 45 0 22 East TN some of the baby turkeys I had a cage and my neighbor built me another one the new cage, they were very heavy to carry up to the barn put a tarp over them to keep the wind out and have a heat light in one of them.

Apr 25, 2009 Thread starter #7 Rach1966 In the Brooder 11 Years Nov 10, 2008 45 0 22 East TN had to put newspaper down in the cages, they didn't like walking on the wire bottom I have 2 turkey's sitting on eggs in the barn where my chickens lay eggs when they hatched, my husband took the babies and put more eggs under her also have 3 gooses sitting on eggs and several chickens I think we are going to have too many babies pretty soon

They take a day or so to get use to the wire floors but they will, give them perches as well then they will sleep on the perches and not on the floor. Looks like you have some Narris and/or bronzes and a couple black spanish in there from what I can see in that pic.
