... for my Survivor chicken to sit on. My question is ... they're cold. My co-worker took them (red comet eggs) out from under a chicken this morning. I won't be able to get them under the chicken until around 6:30 tonight. Will this affect the fertility?

He said he "took them from her this morning". I assume there was a hen sitting on them, but I don't think he usually lets them hatch, so he most likely collects them every day. Which leads me to believe they've been laid fairly recently.

If they haven't been under a broody hen then they'll be fine. If a hen has been brooding them for a few days you might get some to hatch, but it will be a bit of a crap shoot and depend on a lot of varialbles. Give your friend a call and find out what he meant and you'll have a better idea of whether it's worth it to put them under her or not.
