I Have Grandducks!

My feedstore guy Mr. Charles has been taking my duck eggs for me ( can't get my family to eat em and I cant toss em!) so today i walked in and he handed me two itty bitty today ducklings.


They are chilling out in a box in my shed and waiting on their intro to the brooder later on.

One looks like a blue swedish ( i have a black, and the drake is a saxony) and one looks like a fawn and white ( runner X saxony).
i know they are mutts but thats what they look like now...


They are currently laying saxony/muscovey eggs... because Igor got out of his pen and has been violating the girls. . .

They are ADORABLE and now I'm bringing him 24 more eggs tomorrow !

My family scoffed at the though of eating duck eggs as well. I just don't get it but whatever. An egg is an egg to me.
