I have little reddish and brownish ants can any one help

No matter what I do I can't seem to get rid of them it's been about 3 months I think there gone and within a week of daily cleaning there back

Hi there,
Get yourself some potted mint, pennyroyal anything in the mint family. Put the pot right where the ants are found. They will disappear. For some reason, they hate mint.

Try the peppermint oil as a spray around all the places you think the ants are getting in. Works great. Ground cinnamon, cinnamon oil and ground cloves are also good non toxic ant deterrents. Boric acid mixed with sugar works well to kill the whole colony if the ants are attracted to sweets, but must be kept well away from your birds.
