I have meat birds (i think) will they lay eggs ?

I had these birds handed to me, so I'm not sure what kind they are but they are all white. They are starting to get combs now but i think they are all hens. I would like to know if i keep them alive ie: don't eat them, will they lay eggs.

Yes. Not as many as an egg layer, but all hens lay eggs.

Good luck, and don't feed them too much! If they grow too fast you can have some very serious issues on you hands! Take the food away at night and give it back in the morning, that should be good enough to slow their growth.

Thanks & they do seem to be growing fast. I only have six but they are so much fun i just thought i would let them grow.
