Just picked up my new babies from the airport. They called on Easter Sunday Afternoon, Unbelievable. They are so cute.

Now I just need to get outside and start working on their pen and coop!!

Having chicks is a great motivator for finally building the coop.

Our coop wasn't built until I couldn't stand having the chicks in the house anymore! lol

Hubby was out in the rain today finishing ours....the babies are growing FAST!

I am so glad I'm not the only one who got the chicks before the coop.

I'm feeling very intimidated at the thought of building a coop, but I can't find any pre-built ones that I like. My first 3 babies will be 2 weeks old on Wednesday and I have 4 straight run Silkies supposed to be coming in this week. Sadly I haven't even started the coop.

I guess I better get my behind in gear and get my chicken mansion built. I am just so picky and I want them to have the best home possible. Decisions, decisions.
