Hmmmm.... let me try this again. tried to post and lost it.

But anyways... Quail? thats cool. I see them running around outside all the time. What do their eggs taste like. My kids are picky. Of course they would get used to it in time, but the transition period would be odd lol.

Just like chicken eggs but better for you if you have any kind of skin problems. My husband LOVES them!

Chickens are amazing and you're going to love them!
Get this book:
Chickens%20in%20you%20backyard.jpg

It's pretty cheap and short but is packed with information! I love it! It's also really funny! Don't read the section about preparing them to be eaten. I skipped it and advise you do the same.

MyPetChicken has a really, really good beginner's guide filled with information for free! http://www.mypetchicken.com/default.aspx
BackYardChickens
also has a lot of info too but it's best feature is it's big, big, way big forum. A lot of people are online all the time and you can get help with anything you need even if your problem isn't about chickens! There's people on here that are doctors, programmers, architects, linguists, teachers, technicians, farmers, students, etc. People of all different cultures and backgrounds get on this site because of what they love brings them together. Chickens are simply amazing.

By the way,
