So idk where to put this and I want to put at the start I'm not trying to be weird or controversial I just genuinely have no clue what is going on with this bird.
This is Rosemary
Rosemary is supposed to be a welsummer hen. This is Rosemary as a baby
So from everything I know this is supposed to be a hen. But it looks NOTHING like it's sisters. For example here is Sage. From the same batch of chicks. Parsley looks just like Sage but with a smaller comb.
As you can tell the coloring of Rosemary is completely different from the other two and my concern/confusion is if it's possible that Rosemary may be a rooster.
Sometimes I swear I see saddle feathers on Rosemary, and yet the comb is considerably smaller. Rosemary feathered out SUPER weird as well. It grew feathers extremely slow (not very rooster like at all) and after it was fully feathered out at only about 3 months, it seemed to molt. The tail feathers fell away, as did the longer wing feathers. They've grown back now but I'm so confused as to what is going on.
Do I have a hen or a rooster here? Is it possible for sex reversal to happen in autosexing breeds? Is this even what sex reversal looks like? I'm just... I have no idea what's going on or if I'm just a crazy person.
This is my first experience with this breed so my knowledge is extremely limited and any advice is appreciated!
