Today I acquired chickens. I'm only allowed four hens and right now they are 11 days old and are napping but I managed to catch a few pictures before they fell asleep...

They are so adorable!!! My heart is melting right now! 😍 I’m so happy for you!

so now that they're older I suspect that I have either one or two roosters. I'll have to get rid of them because I'm not allowed roosters :( .
I also have a minor worry. It might just be me being paranoid, but my buff orpington seems to be lighter and slightly skinnier than my australorp. her back feathers also look more ruffled than my australorps. We think she might have intestinal issues. Again, it might be nothing, but it can't hurt to ask :)
I'll add pictures soon if I don't forget.

I have a Buff Orphington that I got when she was a baby. I made sure to snuggle and love on her every day. She is a bit of a teenager now, but she will still crawl in my lap and let me pet her. I love Orps! 🥰🥰🥰

from your picture, it seems the ruffled feathers on my orpington might just be from petting her beloved floof. I'll keep an eye on mine, although I think I might have just overthought things.
your orpington looks very cute and huggable <3

She could have some mites or something if her feathers seem to be sticking up. I put a little diatomaceous earth, and mite dust (both you should be able to get at the farm store) in a dust bath for my pheasants when their feathers get ruffled. You might try that and see if that helps. I also had a Easter Egger that was super light in weight, and I thought she might have coccidia (she was having bloody poops along with her low weight).... so I went ahead and medicated them with some Corrid just to make sure. Do you use medicated feed??

her feathers don't seem to be sticking up, they just look a bit ruffled as you can see in the picture I sent. I don't use medicated feed anymore, but I gave some to them for about a week when I first got them. how was your easter egger?
