i have tired hatching before, but need help...

What type of chicken do you have. Is it d'Uccles? If so mine only go broody in the summer. I'm lucky to get eggs in the winter.

My two "RIR"s have 4 eggs and they take turns layin on them, they will probably have 24 when they r dun layin, and i have a bearded booted bantam, i cant remember what they are called on here.. and i have a black hen, which idk what she is, but she tried hatching before and they didnt, she lays blue eggs.... any help on hatching there eggs, besides an incubator?? like what i shood do to hatch them... take them out and wait for her to finish, just leave them alone...??

Leave them alone for the most part. Broodies handle everything from regulating temp to humidity control. I candle between the 8th and 12th days into incubating to remove any eggs that aren't developing but that is a personal preference.

Honestly the less you mess with them the better off developing eggs are. I just don't like leaving potential rotters in the nest. Experienced broodies will kick those out but my girl seemed willing to try and hatch just about anything, no matter the smell.
