This really makes me sad, but I need advice on how to re-home my rooster. The neighbors have been complaining, and a City Ordinance officer, or whatever you call her, visited my house today. She said that we need to re-home our rooster because of general peace policies. I want to know what kind of people I should give him to, a family who wants him, or a petting zoo? He has a very good nature and he isn't aggressive. Please help. 
It can be difficult to rehome a rooster, most people are interested in the hens. You might start with your local 4-H club, lots of poultry lovers there. A local mom and pop type feed store might have a line in on a good home or allow you to put up an ad on a bulletin board. Some Veterinarians know local poultry keepers. You might try Craigslist too. But definitely screen out potential new owners, ask lots of questions and when it comes to delivery, drive him there yourself. If you get a bad vibe, bring him back home, you want to keep him out of stew pots and fighting rings. Good luck!
