I heard my first Gobble today!

My Tom just made his first Gobble noise today! He is just under 2 months old and he has been strutting around a lot lately.

At first, I thought it might have been some of the wild turkeys out in the woods but I found him in the hay loft strutting around by himself and I heard him gobble while I was standing there looking at him.

I am so excited! My babies are growing up!

Tami.....I know the feeling. I have Royal Palms...a tom and a hen. My tom has gobbles a few times. I just love seeing him "posture" fanning his tail feathers, fluffing his back feathers....I think I am in love with this guy!

I have five turkeys. Four are at least 12 weeks old none of them have gobbled yet, hopefully at least one is a Tom.

Hearing my Tom doing his first gobble... all I could say is “Oh my gosh!” It is the best feeling! But watch out. He will never stop!
