I heard my rooster make his first pitiful attempt at crowing today!!

I am sure he will improve ....but the sound that came out of my rooster this morning was sooooo funny! I know it was was supposed to be a crow....but bless his heart!

He will need to practice !!

I love when they start, it kinda reminds me of when a young teenage boys voice starts changing! I have at least 5 young cockerals just getting good at crowing, 1 of them sounded awful.

It cracks me up to listen to chuchuck learn to crow. Usually he sounds like a hen who just laid and egg. but THIS morning I heard him in the coop singing like a true roo.

Well, a true adolescent roo who figured out how to get all five syllables into his crow for the first time- albeit scratchy and not very musical.

My roos are about 3mts. old and trying. It's good for a laugh before i get out of bed. The last few mornings they have woke me up with their pitiful efforts.
