I am a rabid fan of the 80s terribly done ponies, so I resisted MLP:FIM for a long time. "Party of One" was my undoing, as well as my husband's. Now we're hooked. X). I'm particularly fond of how Lauren Faust turned gender stereotypes on their head, as well as handling pink ponies in a non-saccharine way...but even the songs have grown on me.

Luckily, our new housemate is also a fan.
