What exactly does that mean? I've seen it mentioned in several of the girl/boy threads, but never an explanation of what the difference in coloring IS between the sexes. A look at feathersite leads me to guess that the Roos are much lighter above, but that's only a guess.
I'm a little worried about one of mine (no sense in posting photos because my latest pics haven't been coloring true, so you'd easily be fooled by the shot) because she's getting a bit red in the comb, but then I heard that that happens a lot with hatchery hens, so I thought I'd look into this coloring thing
