These are my 2 EE girls, Lilly and Dotty. I think their colors are so pretty, what mix would create this kind of coloring. Lilly has a regular comb and Dotty has a pea comb. The blue they have on them is really neat and their tails stand up really neat.

Lilly is on the left, Dotty on the right. They looked very different when they were little, now look similar. I got them from my local feed store, they order from Privett. I looked on the Privett website and they have them advertised as Ameraucanas....but I know they are EE's of course. They look nothing like the ones on their site.

Lilly's beard is very feathery, like regular feathers. Dotty's is very soft like rabbit fur or all those soft feather near their butts underneath their tails.

Here they are as babies in my hand..Lilly on the bottom, Dotty on the top..

They have a blue or splash ancestor somewhere in there. Years ago I had some EE's that looked like those. Most hatcheries have their EE's in all kinds of colors and it's luck of the draw what they hatch out as. All colors of plumage & legs, and with beards and without. The ones I had in this coloring though for some reason laid pale brown eggs which I guess some would call pink instead of blue or green eggs. Don't know if the coloring of their plumage has anything whatsoever to do with their egg color genetics though. But they are certainly pretty!
