My white leghorn hen has just started laying, and I walked into the run yesterday, checked the boxes, and said to her "go lay an egg." Sure enough she ran into the boxes, and when I was back in a few minutes, there was a tiny white egg I did this again at a totally different time, and she went in the boxes and laid, this is a coincidence right? Either way super funny and had to share. Also, wondering why it takes 2 hours for my buff Orphington of the same age to lay, and Laia is in the boxes for 5-10 minutes?

Wouldn't that be great. Hmm, I feel like an egg for breakfast this morning..... go lay an egg!..... time for breakfast.

Some hens just take longer than others.

Ok lol, I thought so. Hazel just sit there, and Laia just runs in, then out, its quite funny, she has places to be I guess.
