So yesturday without me knowing my husband goes and buys a new scope for his gun. No problem I knew he was thinking about it. Well to justify his purchase he went and purchased me a new incubator a little giant still air with auto egg turner. Now he doesn't need to buy me something just because he bought something but I'm soo happy i have a real incubator! now my question is the two mercury themomiters that came with it both read 99.5 BUT i put my didgital one in and it says 93 degrees which ones are right? humididty is great at about 46 to 47.

Sounds like you better keep him around.

I would always trust the regular analog thermometers over digital ones. I had a very good hatch with just the cheap little thermometer that came with my hova-bator.

Does he happen to have a brother around 30ish??? Single perhaps???
Buy the humidity and temperature thermometer from walmart for 6 bucks its the best for the money!

What a sweetheart, it's nice when they do things like that isn't it? If you have two with the same reading over one, I'd believe the two.

I put a new battery in and its matching the two others soo everythings good now. Haha no brothers in his family sorry ChickenTiff but he has a few Navy brothers that are just as sweet but a little shy of 30

I would snag a fan from an old computer so you get the air circulation. Worked well in mine, and I had a great hatch rate!

We are going to take the one out of our homemade incubator as soon as our last egg hatches who is starting to pip and churp at me!
