I love sweet PDZ!

So I just cleaned my coop for the first time after having added a thin layer of sweet PDZ. I have a tempered hardwood floor that slides out for cleaning. And oh my gosh did it come cleaner! I use a hoe to scrape away the droppings and the sweet PDZ made them come off easily and dry. I’ll definitely be using sweet PDZ for my coop all the time going forward.

It’s raining today but I will get photos/video of how I slide the laminate flooring out and clean it as soon as weather permits.

How long have you had it in there? I use DLM and only have to shovel mine out about every 6 months.

Great stuff, ain't it? I have the granulated version in my poop trays (which I scoop out daily) and there is powdered PDZ intermixed with the bedding I buy. Even with ten chickens people say there is no smell.

Agree 100%. I have a poop tray with an inch or 2 of PDZ and hemp bedding in the rest of the coop. I scoop the tray daily with a kitty litter scoop and it’s cleaner and easier than can be hoped for. So glad I switched over. Changed my life haha. I like the idea of powered PDZ mixed with the bedding @FlyWheel!

Sweet PDZ is the way if your chickens have a poop board. Take me 30 seconds to clean a 4' x 5' poop area.

You can use the granular PDZ, it will do the same thing. That's what I use in my bedding. Also try using about 1/2 inch of PDZ in your poop boards, it might make your scooping go quicker, since you won't have as much to sift. I use 1/2 - 1/4 inch deep on my board.
