Sorry, it looks like it is a Royal Purple. I remember the discussion and that it might be a Chocolate but that it might be a Royal Purple too.
These are young Chocolates.

FYI, it is Chocolate. Brown is a fully spotted version that looks entirely different from a Chocolate.

I have royal purples and have hatched some, but I got these from someone with chocolate browns. Is there regular brown? They shouldn’t have spots bc of their head stripes, and I can’t remember what color you can cross to get an RP but all he had was chocolate and pearl. Guess I have some more mystery birds. 2 out of 50 or so keets with this pattern so I snatched them up. One just got over their wryneck with some extra tlc. Hoping for something different than what I already have.

There is no such thing as a Chocolate Brown. There are Chocolates and there are Browns.

Royal Purple are semi dotted which is indicated by the head stripes. A full stripe down the middle of the head = fully dotted. Squiggly lines and no center stripe = semi dotted. Solid head color = no dots.

I am sure your keet is a Royal Purple.
