I decided to try a 5-pound bag of speckled pea shoots from True Leaf Market, and I absolutely love them! They have already regrown 4 times and taste sooooo good! I have way too much so there is plenty for my chickens! They are also very healthy and can aid in diabetes, cancer prevention and overall heart health. They are high in antioxidants and phytonutrients, which are necessary in supporting the body's inflammation system. Note: After harvesting, leave the tray. They will regrow again and again. I'm on my 4th regrow and they still taste as good as the 1st harvest. Can't wait to see how much more I get!

I bought the same ones but then read that peas are toxic to them?! How do you feed them to the chickens? As sprouts? The leaves? They LOVE alfalfa sprouts so I was really excited to try these peas as well 💚

I'm sorry, I should have edited my post. I read that too so I didn't give them any.
I'll have to try alfalfa!

Yes, you should definitely try them! I let them sprout in a jar for like 4 days and they love them! The chickies actually jump up at the jar as I'm bringing them out! 😂

Yes, you should definitely try them! I let them sprout in a jar for like 4 days and they love them! The chickies actually jump up at the jar as I'm bringing them out! 😂

I recently tried these and yesterday I fed my girls some. They absolutely loved them! I only gave the 13 of them around 2 cups as they are only good for them in moderation. They were sad to see so little...
