I might be doing it again...

Might get chickens again. So, the goal: two coops, one for layers and breeders, one for meat birds. I have a thread going for meat birds, but this is for it all. Looking to get more breeds this time, need to be good with heat and cold.
You can check out my 2021 thread if you're looking for some ideas (located in MT, so we get extremes for both seasons)

I have a few weights and plenty of pictures

Dreaming.... it would be more convenient doing chores, if the 2 coops shared a wall.

I would go huge, so for 12 layers I would build a 10x12 coop and stretch out the roof to cover just as much run.

For breeds, both hot and cold, I would raise Leghorns. Big floppy combs for the heat, but since the comb is big and flops over, it also does alright in the cold.

I'm thinking dog run with shed-like coop built in, with EEs, Golden and silver laced wyandotes, lavender orp, and black australorp.
