I MIGHT be getting Chickens!

Alright. I've been trying to convince my mom to let me get chickens for....let's see.....six to eight months now. She's inches away from giving in!

Any suggestions on how I can push her the last few inches?

Our neighbors just recently got some chicks, so we wouldn't be the first people in our neighborhood to get chickens. If we are going to get chicks, we'd probably get 6 and work our way up from there.

Tell her that free ranged or backyard chickens have lower cholesterol and more of the good stuff in them than store bought eggs. Then suck up as much as you possibly can!! lol

`drag her to the store and show her to them they'll work there magic from there it may mean getting the breed you hate but your mom loves but it works....show her the other theads on here and how happy the chickens make people...P.S don't mention the poo factor...

5. Try to make her think it was her idea.

Oh your right 2 chickens in the back yard wouldnt even be noticed.

do everything you can to show her how responsible you are! If she knows you are really going to take care of the chickens she won't mind getting them. If she thinks the care of them is going to be dumped on her she might not want any more work to do and veto the idea.

My friend told me to just leave her alone. She said when I stop bugging her, she'll think I foregot and then give in. That could take forever! I'm not sure.........
