lol i deffinatley would be lost in the summer without our beautiful fort myers beach! spring break is only a week and a half away and me and a few friends are getting a hotel room right on the water! i cant wait!

My friends and I are going to celebrate my 40th birthday by going to the gulf for a week. One week in a house with a pool and across the street from the beach. One week with no husbands or children or anything. Just us old ladies. Whoohoo!!! I can't wait. Only 7 more weeks!

(I still think BYC should hold a convention and it should be on a beach somewhere.)

yeah.. that would be awesome!!... BYC convention on a beach... *sigh* I can dream...

I haven't been to the beach in about 8 years. We used to get to go every year. I am in severe withdrawal. Like you I am especially fond of the Florida beaches. All the women coming are pleasantly sized and loads of fun. We are planning on taking the beach by storm and running the cranky, skinny people off so we can hog it all up ourselves.

BYC needs to have a convention and it really needs to be in the summer so more people can come (and drag their kids along!). If it's going to be in the summer anyway, why not have it on the beach? I'm sure there are some wonderful convention centers somewhere along the coast. Can you imagine the **frozen drink** party with a bunch of chicken people?

How much fun would that be! I bet we could even get our illustrious sponsors to cover a chunk of the cost if they can have booths set up to sell their stuff. It would be one stop shopping for us, make a killing for them and make the convention affordable for the bulk of us. I'd recommend Nashville (great convention centers with hotels attached, nice airport, great weather, etc, etc, etc), except Nashville doesn't have a beach.

Nifty, can we please have a convention? We promise to be good. Mostly.
