I personally would not take any chickens back that left my property either. Giant biosecurity risk. However, I also wouldn't be selling males as females, and I'd know my breeds. If you decide to get another, post pics here before you purchase. We are fairly decent at breed and gender ID.

When I purchased the chicks from her she said that if any were roos she would exchange them for hens, otherwise I wouldn't have even asked her.

What do you mean by safe? Like, what they're intentions are for your rooster? Or if they are safe people to be around?

We use to rescue dogs and one thing we learned a long time ago was that CL is used to find bait dogs, so I've never posted any animals on there.

So, ROO has been rehomed. He is at a nice home about 30 minutes from me and gets a girlfriend too! AND I only cried twice (so far) lol
