I need a hatchery.

I want to order some ducks. I was wondering if anyone knows any hatcheries in northern Illinois.

I am in the same boat as you. I've had previous experiences of ducks shipped in the mail dying. I have been looking DESPERATELY to find a hatchery in Illinois, or near Illinois, as I live in northern Illinois as well. I've spent a month searching for a place selling mallards and can't find ANYTHING!!! Hopefully somebody will answer with a hatchery, or even a private breeder to help us out!

Shipping ducks and such isn't a bad thing but never do it in weeks where it's especially hot or cold. Try to find a hatchery in a state by you - the closer, the less likely of them dying.
Patient wait farms is in SC, closest one I could find.
Just remember to order them so they can fly at night, it's easier on them
