i need a little help with the gender thing please!!!!!!

my "friend" wants a rooster from our new flock of baby chicks

and my parents and his parents are fine with it

but he wants it as a baby

so it will get used to him and as he says,"imprint" on him,we have got 31 chicks and im sure there are at least 1 rooster in the flock and i was wondering if anyone knew how to tell the roosters from the hens at such a young age and if you do please tell me!

idk but i do now it depends on what kind of chicks you have. Some breeds are sexed link (basically pullets come out one color and cockerels a different) Some breeds have a certain pattern or spot. I know that with dominique chickens you can tell by a yellow spot on their head but i don't remember which is which maybe someone with some more experience can help you better. good luck.

thank you any ways and some of the chicks are mixed breed chickens!they are more "colorful" that way!
