I ended up with all females and the feed store is out of keets! Darn! Anyone have a male guinea? Mine are about 8 weeks or so (fully feathered and now 'balding').

Where are you located? I have several 8 week old guineas, but I'm not sure of their sex(es). And, if you don't mind me asking....do you really NEED a male? Guineas are very hard to breed unless they're penned because they wander off to lay and sometimes the hen is picked off by predators. Male guineas don't stic around to help out either. Just thought I'd ask. But, if you live nearby and know how to sex them, come on out and you can have a boy if I have one and you need one.

I wondered if you could cross a chicken with a Guinea? What do they look like, does anyone have any pictures as I have never seen one.
Also I have never seen my male Guinea even seem interested in the 2 females, I must be missing something.

I think I gpt pne female and three males ha ha. she is the loudest and the bossiest so everyone follows her. mine are a little older though. C

Chickens and guineas?! Really! My three guineahens fly around like mad women and freak the chickens out. I couldn't imagine them settling down together for 'business'.

My three were cackling last night. Oh! It was deafening. So, they're the chatty cathies of the guinea world. And, they let me know when I arrived! Thank goodness, because sometimes I don't know whether I'm coming or going!
