I've got three beautiful hens - one BR, one BO and one EE.
The BO is so obviously a girl. She reeks of girl chicken.
The BR is almost definitely a girl. She isn't really in question.
My sweet little EE is getting some puffier tail feathers so I'm hoping she's not a roo. I can't have roosters where I live and we're so darned attached to her. She still acts like a girl and has no "typical" roo behaviors yet, so for all I know, this type of tail plumage is typical for EE's...or maybe it's the start of her manliness
Any guesses?
I took these photos today when I put her on top of their outside run. That gets them a little weirded out so they all sorta puff up a bit and get nervous and look to me to get them down. I knew it'd get her tail all up and fancy for the photos LOL.
She was very happy when I lifted her down and put her back in the run with her friends - LOL. My chickens are chicken!
So......thoughts?
(I'm hoping for some sexpert advice because newbies like ME don't have a clue...)
