I need avatar help

I have the picture I was to use and it is small, but it keeps telling that the file is too big. How do I fix that?

go into your file and rename it another name, then resize it to a 100 X 100 file (it may resize it to 100 x 75 or something like that).

Thats what I had to do...

Are you using a jpeg file or a gif file?

Some gif's will be too big if they are animated.

It's a jpeg. I will try that, I am not computer savy with that kind of stuff. I can kill ya with a spreadsheet, but this pic stuff baffles me.

in the EDIT section you should have a feature that says "resize"

It may be under the TOOLS section as well. guess it depends on what picture program you're using...

GRRR this is frustrating. It opens in Window picture and fax thing and when I click open to edit, it goes to paint which doesn't give the option to re-size it!

take a marker and color a picture on your screen to your left.
